Sunshine Coast Marlins Holds Off Sunshine Coast Sharks As 4-Run Deficit Is Nearly Erased

Sunshine Coast Marlins built a four-run lead in the second inning and then held off Sunshine Coast Sharks’s charge for a 6-5 victory on Saturday. Sunshine Coast Sharks put up four runs in the failed comeback. Clinton Stevens, Luke Trenerry, Mitchell Lawrence, and Stevens each picked up RBIs.

Sunshine Coast Sharks scored three runs in the fourth inning, but Sunshine Coast Marlins still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by Sunshine Coast Sharks was led by Trenerry, Lawrence, and Stevens, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
